3:00am doggie-doo upsets Clifford Grayson

A 46-year-old man was arrested on charges of child abuse after he allegedly picked up his daughter by the hair, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Clifford G. Grayson was upset with his daughter because the dog had made a mess on the floor and he could smell it, according to the report.

He woke the girl up to clean up the mess and when it was not cleaned up, he allegedly grabbed her by the hair and shook her back and forth, according to the arrest report.

He smacked her in the head, and she punched him in the face at about 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to the report.

The girl had hair falling out of her scalp when deputies arrived on scene. She was taken to her grandparents.
