LinkA Mt. Airy woman is accused of becoming so angry over her cable television being disconnected that she chased a local worker with a baseball bat.
April Fisher, 31, is charged with misdemeanor menacing as a result of the attack, which took place at her home on President Drive Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the incident began when the cable television technician arrived at Fisher's home around 3 p.m. to disconnect her service.
Police say his presence sent her into a fury and she began yelling at him. Fisher then allegedly chased the man with the bat. It does not appear he was struck in the attack.
