Bond was set Friday at $1 million for Joseph Biedermann, a 29-year-old charged with first-degree murder for fatally stabbing his neighbor 58 times. He must post 10 percent to be set free.

A somber Biedermann stared down at the floor for the entirety of the bond hearing in Rolling Meadows while prosecutors relayed the chronology of the "heinous and brutal" murder of Terrance Hauser Jr. at the Barrington Lakes apartment complex.

The dude had a superficial cut that required all of 3 stitches, compared to his poor neighbor with 58 stab wounds. Sounds like self-defense to me.:grrrrrr:
