LoL, BOOM!!!, fire in the hole!!!!!!. Dumbass Tard, and to make it worse he tossed the gas can that was on fire into the back of a pick up truck, DUhhh, that certainly didn't help things one bit. Must have not been by the water, cause that would have been my first choice to toss the can and to dive into.

I willingly admit to have set a few gas cans on fire before, tossing gas onto a out door wood fire and the flames traveled up the gas and into the can. But I always dropped the can and ran like hell.

Man learns painful lesson about smoking while siphoning.
Smoking and siphoning don't mix, a New Smyrna Beach man learned after officials say he was burned as he tried to take gas from a boat.

Justin Lou Avis, 30, was burned over 20 percent of his body Sunday while removing the gas from his father's pontoon boat as he smoked a cigarette, fire and police officials said. The container Avis used to catch the fuel ignited about 10:30 p.m.

He suffered first- and second-degree burns to his hands and legs, officials said. To try to avoid the flames, officials said Avis threw the burning container into a nearby pickup, setting it ablaze.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the fires in the 200 block of Sandy Lane and Avis was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. His condition was not available Tuesday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Property damage was estimated at $2,000, the fire report states.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

Ok so this is justin's fiance....i logged in on his facebook on accident... You werent there I was...yes he made a mistake however he was 2 feet from the front door of the house where his parents, niece, girlfriend (me), and five children were sleeping. He threw the can away from the house so he didn't put us in as much danger. The can hit the driveway and then slid under his dad's truck not in the back of it. He then immediately ranto it reached under the truck while his arm was already on fire so that it wouldn't blow up causing his moms car and the boat to go up further endangering his family because they we all parked right beside one another... The can then split and caught his leg on fire finally he got to the hose once he though his family was safe... Yes he was dumb for causing this in the first place but you have no right to talk unless your were there and NO ONE deserves to be in that kind of pain... So you all need to shut up becausr you have no idea what that was like to live through!

Nobody deserves to be in that much pain (scratch that, there are plenty of people featured on this site that deserve to be, but your bf probably isn't one of them). And as for his decision making abilities, well, he is from Florida, so he's in good company. I hope that he healed up ok.

I was out back trying to start a fire one time with wet wood. I used gasoline 3 times and the third time I douced the wood the fire shot up to the can and started it on fire. It was one of th plastic 5 gallon ones you buy at Walmart with the yellow lid. The spout was on fire and a voice told me to put the lid on it. I had about 3 gallons of gas in it and don't know why it didn't blow. I inched my way up to the can and nervously put the lid on the can extinguishing the fire and then stomped the fire out that was on the ground. I can't imagine how I would have felt if my arm and leg were on fire along with the can. This sounds to be nothing but a accident and could happen to anyone at any given time. I am just glad it wasn't me.

His mug shots remind me of Zoolander, he only had one "look" but called them by different names...Blue Steel, Magnum...

It's like his head is fused to his neck in that position.

ETA: Ferrari and Le Tigre were the other two names!! Whew, that was driving me crazy.

I'm curious as to why he needed to siphon gas from one of the vehicles parked outside the house if they all belonged to him and his family. And why did he have to do it during the night, when everybody was asleep....it would almost seem like he was stealing, since he was hiding what he was doing....

He was taking it from a boat...they were probably putting it up for the year and didn't want it to sit all winter with a full tank of gas.

I think he missed seeing the period in between Kaydence and Summer. If you don't "see" it, the kids add up to 6, not 5 like he said in his sentence.

One must assume by the DV post above that the "family" spends a lot of time in jail as well. Otherwise he won't be spending a "lot" of time with them.

I suppose if your "career" is criminal, the above post supports the claim of "hard working" as well.

The totality of his postings do not however support him being "hard working" during his educational years.

I really should thank his hose bag from bringing this post back to the forefront. I had never even seen it before and now get to enjoy it.

You have to winterize your boats in Florida too? Now I feel FL don't have much going for it except for our members. I pictured water play year round.

Regardless if it gets cold or not, it's still considered winter. Back to school and back to work means less time on the lake. If the boat is going to be sitting for a prolonged period of time it should be stored safely regardless of the weather.
