An Austin teenager has been arrested for indecency with a child, after a March incident in which the seventeen-year old victimized a thirteen-year old girl in the building that houses an afterschool program.
The victim stated that Christopher Ross Cortinas asked her to perform oral sex on him in the break room of a building that houses the Boys and Girls Club. When she refused, he told her to not tell anyone. She said that he then pulled down his pants and forced her to touch his penis on the outside of his underwear. The victim said Cortinas also tried to pull her pants down several times, and then she finally broke free.
The victim ran home from the Boys and Girls Club and told her aunt about the incident. Her aunt then notified the police.
Cortinas has been charged with indecency with a child by sexual contact, which is a second degree felony. He is currently held in the Travis County Correctional Complex on a $10,000 bond.
