Police say a 22-year-old Lincoln woman broke her 4-month-old daughter’s arm.
In court documents she is alleged to have grabbed her daughter’s arms to pick her up out of a car seat on Feb. 27 when the girl’s left arm got caught in a strap. Police say her arm popped, but Vinson didn’t take the girl to see a doctor right away because she already had a doctor’s appointment scheduled the next day.

There was an update, apparently there was more broken then what first appeared so she was arrested:
Police arrested her Wednesday on suspicion of felony child abuse after a full skeletal exam showed both of the girl’s legs broken, too.
The girl and two siblings were taken into the state’s care.

Jimmatta Vinson took her daughter to the People's Health Center on Feb. 28, 2008, where the injury was discovered.
Prosecutors said Vinson said her daughter's heart monitor had gone off the night before and, as she pulled her out of a car seat, her left arm got caught in the strap. Vinson heard a pop, but didn't seek medical attention for the girl because she had an appointment scheduled the next day.
Deputy County Attorney Pat Condon said the heart monitor didn't go off that night, according to medical staff.
The girl and two siblings were taken into the state’s care.
Vinson's sentencing is set for June 22

The X-ray showed that both of the child's femurs were also broken.
Police said two of her other three children are already in state custody.

W.....T......F????? broken arm and 2 broken legs? Someone needs to break this cunts arm and legs. I was a little sympathetic AT FIRST when it said the baby's hearet monitor went off and she was rushing to get her out but then I kept reading. Fuck that.

This always gets me. If you're not fit to parent two of your children, why would you be fit to parent the other ones?Police said two of her other three children are already in state custody.
Unless, of course, some of the kids are with bio dad and some with state. Or I'm reading this totally wrong 'cause it's late.

Imagine, this poor sweet one was probably crying all the time with breaks like that. WTF wouldn't she take the baby if only to get the crying to stop? She's a heartless bitch who needs a real good ass-kickn'. Like I said I'm obliged.
I seriously hope she never gets her babies back. Apparently she had a chance to get her shit right and she didn't. She's an abuser that won't change unless she wants it and gets help. Maybe losing all her children will make her think seriously about that....somehow, I don't think she will give a damn.

Jimmatta Vinson had been set for sentencing Monday but asked District Judge Robert Otte to allow her to withdraw her plea, and he did. Her case is headed for trial.
