SAN ANTONIO – A 35-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. The assaults are alleged to have begun when the girl was 13 years of age at a Northwest San Antonio home and at a business in Leon Valley.
Juan Rodriguez was arrested by San Antonio PD detectives after the girl made an outcry to police in the middle of April.
According to the arrest affidavit, the incidents began in December of 2008. It started when Rodriguez is said to have started kissing the girl. When he was asked to stop, Rodriguez is alleged to have threatened to hurt the girl and a relative if the victim did not have sex with him.
In the court paperwork, the girl told police she was made to drink alcohol or smoke marijuana to “loosen her up.”
After an examination of the girl by a doctor, an arrest warrant was issued on Thursday for Rodriguez charging him with sexual assault of a child. He was arrested and taken to the Bexar County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
