75-year-old Jerry Young got arrested for sodomy of 80-year-old female relative.

Prattville Police arrested a 75-year-old man Friday on charges of first-degree sodomy, a case in which the alleged victim was a relative.

Prattville Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth declined to identify the relationship between the man and his victim. He did, however, say the victim was 80 years old.

Jerry Evans Young of 103 Till Street was arrested and charged with sodomy in the first degree, which is a felony. Young was turned into authorities by his attorney.

Wadsworth said the victim suffers from dementia. Wadsworth said Young was not living with the victim at the time of the alleged incident and the incident did not happen at the Till Street address.

According to police documents, Young was taken to the Autauga Metro Jail and subsequently released on $30,000 bond.
