ROSELAND — A wife of a suspected methamphetamine dealer was charged Monday with child neglect, one week after authorities raided her home, the Indian River County Sheriff's Office said.
Katie Lynn Wolff, 32, of the 8000 block of 133rd Place, Roseland, was being held Tuesday at the Indian River County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
The Drug Enforcement Agency, along with the Sheriff's Office and a detective with the Sebastian Police Department, began looking into Wolff's home
after a tip from a local pharmacist on May 11. Investigators said they found Wolff's husband,
Paul A. Wolff, 30, in the middle of a meth cook in the rear patio area of the home that day.
The couple have two children, ages 3 and 6, living at the home, authorities said. The Department of Children and Families were contacted by investigators.
Paul Wolff and another man taken into custody during the investigation, Mitchell Platt, 21, of Melbourne, were still being held at the jail Tuesday. Paul Wolff faces 11 counts of various charges related to possessing and manufacturing meth and three counts of possession of a short barrel shotgun or rifle. He was being held in lieu of $130,000 bail.
Platt was charged with manufacturing and possession of meth and possession of listed chemicals. He was being held in lieu of $125,000 bail.
