A Texas mother of twins got the shock of her life when doctors revealed that her 11-month-old boys do not have the same father.

Mia Washington decided to get some expert advice when she and her partner noticed that twins Justin and Jordan had different facial features.
Paternity tests then revealed what had happened — two eggs had been fertilized by two different sperm and there was a 99.99% chance the twins had different dads.

That's pretty much how it happens... I think I saw something like this on Jerry Springer or Maury a while back. A chick was w two dudes on the same night, had twins and the result came back "You are BOTH the father"

IMO I think she was seeing dollar signs when she went public with this, because really-- how often do you hear about 'double-dipped' twins? And we all know there are people/agencies with more money than good sense--for example those jackasses that pay for Jesus on a grilled cheese sandwich or a corn flake shaped like Illinois.

agreed. If it were me, I sure as hell wouldn't make this little tidbit about my sexual exploits public, but then again, I like people to think of me as a lady, not a ho.

Funny side note though, my sister and I have learned never take both of our daughters out in public with only one of us present. Too many people ask "are they twins" No, they are six weeks apart. "UH? How did that happen?"

While not common, not unheard of. What is unusual is that it was discovered. I would think if it was about the $, she would be hitting up the bio-dad of the "odd man out"... which she is not according to the articles I've read.

Mia said she plans to tell the boys about their DNA differences when they’re old enough to understand. As for the other father, she has no plans to tell him.

hmmm those kids don't look THAT different... lots of fraternal twins look much more different.

wasn't there a "twins from two different dads" story about 8 or 10 years ago... i think mom's bf or hubby was white, but one baby was biracial, and the other was a ruddy redheaded or something. or the other way round... but i do remember it was really much more obvious to the casual observer.

People have twins that don't look alike all the time. No one is going to pay money for that. Just because they have 2 different dads. You can't even SEE that part of it. It didn't even make the news in the US until the British tabloids picked it up.

She would make more money, in the long run, from child support ... unless the guy was pond scum; which I suppose is possible.

My sister and I are convinced our new puppies (from the same litter) have different fathers. My baby could pass for pure Shih Tzu, but hers is short hair, and looks part Chihuahua, hers also has the attitude.

We have started calling her a "Tzu-huahua" because if you say it slowly it sounds sexy.

We keep asking her little cutie "Who's your daddy

" But, she's keeping it a secret, just like a lady should.

If you are lucky enough to ovulate multiple times in a month, you could end up with fraternal twins. All you need is sperm it doesn't matter who it's from. You can even get pregnant if you are already pregnant!

Lots of interesting and unusual things happen when twinning occurs. I call mine "Night and Day" twins as they have a 4-5 inch height difference, different hair coloring, and very different temperaments.

Maybe mine have different dads? Hmmmm... I don't think so but it WAS a long time ago...

I always felt that public paternity tests should be made illegal. While the mom may not have a problem admitting her slutiness, can you imagine the kid's shame and humilation when his/her classmates find an old Maury episode on Youtube?

These kids never agreed to be on public television and have their potentially embarrassing personal information aired.

Considering that the same tarded tarts are raising the kids, they will probably be used to it, think it's "normal" behavior and attitude and they will probably have heard it all by their teens... and in glorious detail.
