affidavit
Needless to say the affidavit wasnt looked on very well, so the judge summoned Erik to court or jail (criminal failure to appear) his choice, Eric took the court and apologized for his letter. The judge cut him some slack and excused him from serving jury duty. Looks like Erik will have lots of time for wrinkle counting on his dog now.Apparently you morons didn't understand me the first time. I CANNOT take time off from work. I'm not putting my family's well being at stake to participate in this crap. I don't believe in our "justice" system and I don't want to have a goddam thing to do with it. Jury duty is a complete waste of time. I would rather count the wrinkles on my dogs balls than sit on a jury. Get it through your thick skulls. Leave me the F--k alone.
http://www.postchronicle.com/news/or...12227678.shtmlErik Slye, a Montana man, replied to a jury summons with an expletive-filled affidavit. He has since apologized to the court on a judge's orders.
The document shows Slye demanded to be excused from jury duty because he couldn't take time off from work. Slye calls court workers "morons" and says that the service was "a complete waste of time" in the Afadavit.
Slye, an automobile painter, was ordered by a judge to apologize to court clerks at a hearing last week.

), but I've witnessed the frustration and inconvenience of those who have. I'm surprised we don't see more cases like this.
