My Real Name is Not Swivel

Swivel is just a word that I thought sounded funny back in 1995 when a friend of mine started his own BBS. Morbid and I used to sit around, waiting until midnight, to try and be the first person to log onto our friend's computer (only one at a time back in the modem days), fire up "Legend of the Green Dragon", and attempt to kill one another as we slept in the fields, or in our illusory-safe room in the Inn.

I think Morbid went by something-DOS back then. And I was known as "swivel", and have been ever since.

I don't really enjoy this site very much. I just do what I can to ruin the place. All in revenge for this one time, when my Half-Orc was level 19, and so close to going off in search of the Green Dragon, and I logged on to find myself in Hell. With the message, "HitDOS killed you in the Sleeping Fields".

I'll never forgive you, Morbid. Never.

But enough about Morbid, this is a thread devoted to ME! I grant each of you three Yes or No questions. Don't rush it. Make them count. Ask me anything.

Yes or No...But that's haaaarrrrd. If I was a little kid, I'd be flopping around in protest, right now.

You weren't kidding when you said you were going to go introduce yourself in the newbie section. I'm impressed.

Hmmmm a yes or no question, huh? Let's see......do you still PLAY online games? Have you advanced to something a little more complicated than Legend of the Green Dragon? (oops that was two questions...lol)

    netty1172,

    No.
    No.

And I'll only count that as one question, since the first answer also answered the second. (and because your font is a purty color)

    1. Did you have that nice green hat custom made?
    2. Are those your real whiskers?
    3. Can you tell I'm suffering from prolonged sleep deprivation, and therefore delusional?

Dear almighty Swivel, I have a question:

Why are you such an ass?

    Thanks.

    i'm considering my questions carefully.

You haven't outlined the rules sufficiently, so through observation I have noticed that you said you would answer yes or no, but you didn't say whether you'd answer honestly. So i don't want to waste questions. Also, you didn't state a time limit. If i haven't used my questions, and six years down the pike I decide to ask you one, I have no assurances that you will answer.

I may have to run this through my legal counsel first. I smell loopholes.

I will answer honestly. The time limit for this is coincident with my time on this website.

    Fair enough.

    Okay:

Have you ever thrown away a book?

Do you want to wrestle me in Jell-O?

If Obama fucks Hillary anally, do you want to watch?

    Impqueen,

    1. Yes (Hundreds)
    2. Yes (But I can't, my wife would probably qualify that as "cheating")
    3. Yes (But I would turn away during close-ups. I hate close-ups)

Mmmm... QUALIFIERS! Bet you didn't expect qualifiers!

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe had it right - God is in the details.

    Qualifiers exceed expectations.

Since I, unlike others, have superb reading comprehension skills (;)), let's try to do something with these Yes\No questions and see how far we can get.

Let's start simple. If yes no is the only thing he will answer, and knowing swivel, he will answer honestly, lets start by fuinding out exactly what he drives. Of course, he could just tell us, but this is a little more interesting and could be a warmup for further questions...if he continues to play along.

    So,

    1. Do you drive a car?
    2. Is your vehicle manufactured after 1990?
    3. Is you vehicle considered foreign?

    Ohh...vehicles?
Finally...something I care about in this dumbass forum! :sarcastic:

You're first two questions are either/or when he has indicated a stipulation for yes/no. I see therefore that your composition skills pale to your comprehension guruness.

Oh wait we're digging Swivel's dirt, sorry.

Would it be more precise to say simultaneous?

1 : existing or occurring at the same time : exactly coincident

he said yes, but he's not allowed to. Which is altogether different. But since he can't, you most certainly can. Let's start with cherry. :)
