A Harveys Lake man was arraigned Thursday morning on charges he pushed his girlfriend out of a moving car and ran over her arm
in Dallas Township, police said.
Stanley Matthew Wright, 50, is charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Police said the incident occurred Sunday around 1:10 a.m. near 45 Gordon Ave.
When police arrived on scene, they met with Karen Zierowicz, who said her boyfriend, Wright, fled after pushing her out of the vehicle. She said he drove over part of her left arm.
Zierowicz was treated at an area hospital for injuries to her left arm and right knee, police said.
Wright was charged Thursday and sent to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail.
