Oh lovely....a dream come true for thieves. I love these "how to" videos on how others can commit crimes and steal your shit. Kinda like the news.....they show you exactly HOW to do it.

I learned how to pick locks (like, almost any kind of lock) on some "how to" web site. I was mostly just trying to learn how locks work so I could fix the deadbolt on my apartment door. Now all I need is a paperclip and a screwdriver to open pretty much anything that takes a key.

Luckily, I am not a thief.

I learned how to hot wire a car from a website... But not for illegal purposes lol. Gabe had hidden the keys from me once because he didn't want me driving without a license...

Well.. for luggage, there's little signs at the airport letting you know that your locks may be cut off for inspections. Anyway-- those cheesy little suitcase locks are easy to pop.. just shove something in and turn...

I quit locking my luggage the first time I flew after 9-11. They busted up our luggage to search my bags, dirty clothes and all. I was pissed.

Next time, I secured it but didn't (key) lock it. No problem, except they took my Advil and Tylenol (my prescription rx were in my purse). Stupid shits. This happened both times at MSP airport.

I can not longer travel by air, but when son and granddaughter come to visit, they use carry-on only and ship the rest. Quite a bother but sick of "losing" shit (and about $30-40 cheaper). Works for us.
