COOL SPRINGS, Tenn. - A Thompson's Station woman faces several charges Wednesday after police said she resisted arrest and then kicked out a window of the patrol car she was riding in.
Officers were called to the Kohl's on Spring Creek Drive in Cool Springs after receiving a report of an intoxicated shopper.
Upon arrival, they found 41-year-old Lisa Green sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot.
As Green attempted to step out of her vehicle, police said she fell onto the pavement and then became immediately combative with officers as they tried to help her up.
Franklin police said Green continued to resist officers after they placed her under arrest and once in the patrol car, began yelling profanities and slamming her head into the partition that separates suspects from officers in the police car.
Green eventually laid down in the backseat and kicked out the rear, passenger side window, police said.
Green was booked into the Williamson County jail on public intoxication and assault charges, among others.
She has since been released on $7,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 7.
