Elizabeth Anderson was stabbed to death inside her home on Elgywood Lane Wednesday.
Her next door neighbor, Mega Lewis is charged with the killing.
In court a judge denied bond for Lewis.
Fire trucks going to 6617 Elgywood Lane to put out an overnight blaze got neighbors out of bed up and down the block.
"I heard the sirens, and once I woke up to go work was when the whole street was filled with cops."
That's what Tamara McCauley told us, days later, a police search warrant offers unsettling details.
It says firefighters got to Mega Lewis home and, that she and several small children went next door to Elizabeth Anderson's home, while they put the fire out.
The warrant goes on to say one of the responders witnessed a black female lying on the living room floor, and narrative continues by spelling out how the neighbor was described as assaulting and beating Anderson on the living room floor.
Kollie lives across the street from the crime scene and knew Mega Lewis who's charged with murder.
She says, "I didn't see no harm in her. I didn't see any evil in her. Anything that says she look like a person that could kill. I didn't see that."
