6 years?? I think the life sentence is a little drastic but 6 years, really? You know he will pop up in yet another gang affiliation while locked up and be back on the streets acting all thug-like again.

I would also hope that this guy never gets unsupervised visitation with this kid and this man will be out of prison in 3 years. He probably shouldn't get visitation at all. What a sad creature. I'm sure the son doesn't want anything to do with him and I would make sure he didn't have to.
