Thank goodness they didn't take the children with them.

Arkansas State Police say a husband and wife are dead after an apparent murder suicide.

Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division agents are continuing to gather statements and evidence in connection with the deaths.

We're told the incident happened Sunday. Both died from gunshots wounds.

The husband and wife have been identified as Bronson Dinwiddie, 35, and Renee Dinwiddie, 29. Their bodies will be examined by the State Crime Laboratory.

Judsonia Pplice received a 911 emergency telephone call from a family member reporting a shooting incident at the home around 6 p.m. Local police found the bodies in a living room of the Dinwiddie home.

Three children were at the home when the shootings occurred. One of the children witnessed the incident.

Bronson Dinwiddie had been employed as a deputy sheriff jailer with the White County Sheriff's Department.
