Valorie Cox sentenced to 30 years in prison

HUNTSVILLE, AL -- Valorie Kiel Cox was sentenced this morning to 30 years in prison as part of her plea agreement on a second-degree murder charge stemming from the death of a Marshall Space Flight Center engineer.

Cox, 36, admitted she caused the death of Darren Spurlock by crashing her car into his on Redstone Arsenal last May as she was attempting to elude Huntsville Police officers following an apparent drug deal, according to court documents.
Cox led police on a high-speed chase across Huntsville, eventually reaching Martin Road and crossing on to Redstone Arsenal.
Her vehicle was traveling some 90 mph when it struck Spurlock's car, which was traveling about 15 mph through the intersection of Rideout Road and Martin, according to court documents.

Why isn't it ever the drivers at fault that die? Stupid, selfish bitch. Hope she enjoys her 30 year stay in prison. Not nearly enough IMHO.

Hopefully they're stacking that on top of evading arrest and whatever drug charges they were initially pursuing her for.

Erggg. Fucking bitch. 30 years plus the knowledge that you took someone's life..possibly someone's father, brother, husband, son's life ...that's better than some drug charge?
