Wonder what the safety concerns were, and why they got the kids back?A southern Illinois foster parent is jailed on $200,000 bond after being accused of inappropriate sexual relations with two girls.
Williamson County prosecutors charged 29-year-old Mark Ashby of Marion with five sexual assault counts. Investigators also allege that he beat one of the victims.
The state Department of Children and Family Services says Ashby and his wife have been licensed foster parents since September 2006.
DCFS spokesman Kendall Marlowe says five foster children had lived in the home before last June, when they were removed by DCFS because of "safety concerns."
Oh, and of course, the wife swears he will be found innocent. Don't they always?
