Police say 37-year-old Susie Young Kim of Irvine was found slumped over the wheel of the car after she rammed two police cars in Tustin. Police say her daughter was unharmed and taken into protective custody.
Police say the chase began shortly after 12:30 a.m. when an officer tried to stop the car because he suspected the driver might be drunk.
The driver kept going at speeds of up to 110 mph on southbound Interstate 5 through Buena Park, Anaheim, Fullerton, Tustin and Santa Ana.
The district attorney's office is investigating.
