COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A father was charged this week with neglect and battery after his 2-year-old daughter was found with severe burns a few months ago.

Police said Raeleigh Hunter was scalded in the bath while under the care of her father, Carl Holt III, 24.

His claim is, he was listening to music when he found the 2 year old in the bathtub. She indicated to him the water was too hot.

Just "too hot?" A two-year old will scream bloody murder for a bump on the head. This little girls burns were so severe, she required skin grafts.

Oh yeah, he waited 12 hours before he finally took her to the hospital.

Jesus Christ. Is it wrong to wish this man the same fate? I tend to believe in karma, what goes around comes around, and I'm going to hope this guy knows some day what it feels like to be burned. There is no way in hell, that child sat in that water whilst it was burning her to the point of blistering????? That is an asinine excuse at best. I cannot imagine the pain that child is now suffering. That dude is a prick, plain and simple, a child abusing prick. I know, judgmental, but holy shit the proof is there, I don't know what else to call him. Dammit.
