Oh okay something is majorly wrong with it I see what your talking about now. Edit to say I went from 118,000 something to 56,000 something and from 100% to 99% yes I would say something is wrong.

Did you just buy your can of spam? It takes points away. If you bought it awhile back, then apparently Morbid doesn't like you today!! I haven't even looked at my points since I got a hundred percent. I honestly have no idea what they are even for...........WTF.... my points just dropped from over 10,000 within minutes !

Ok, so I just saw the Easter Eggs we can buy for a thousand points. I bought one and then saw the link "Acquire Points". So here are the ways you can get points!
Points for infractions
For example, an infractions with 4 points, multiplied with the value of 100 would be multiplied into 400. So the user would have been substracted 400 points. x100
Points for reputation
How many points should be given for reputation points? x1
Points for reputation use
How many points should be given for use of the reputation system? x2
Points for days online
Points that are added for every day since registering. x2
Points for social group members
Points that are added for every Member in a created social group x5
Points for friends
Points that are added for every confirmed friend a user have x3
Points for visitor messages
Points that are added for every comment on a profile x1.5
Points for album pictures
Points that are added for pictures uploaded in own profile album x3
Points for referrals
Points that are added for every referral x25
Points for completing profile
How many points should be given for filling editable profile fields? (per field) x10
Hope that answers a few questions anyway. It may not explain how we lose them, other than for infractions, but good info anyway!

This is a WAG. It looks like rep points may have been counted twice -- once as a portion of user points and again as rep points. At least, that's what it looks like in my own statistics.
I have no idea about the activity, though.

considering that you are at level 100, and have a shit ton of points, I don't think you need to be obsessing over it.
This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
