Jasmine Sullivan didn't want Hooters to close

An Urbana woman was charged with disorderly conduct, assault and resisting arrest last week after she allegedly caused a disturbance and threatened a waitress at Hooters in the 9100 block of South Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn, police said.

Jasmine Sullivan, 20, of the 2200 block of Hazelwood Drive was charged in the incident.

The disturbance erupted early March 22 when a woman demanded the restaurant be kept open while she waited for friends to arrive, police said.
