A Savannah woman was arrested Monday night on an aggravated assault charge after her live-in boyfriend allegedly told her he was seeing another woman, according to a Savannah-Chatham metro police report.
Metro police were called to a home on the 1500 block of Stratford Street at 10:45 p.m. after Jacqui Zeola Singleton, 32, tried to run her live-in boyfriend, Rhasheene Winn, 28, over with her car, a report stated.
Winn jumped out of the path of Singleton’s charging 2001 Ford Taurus. Singleton also rammed Winn’s 1989 Jaguar XJ6, a report stated.
The couple’s two children—ages five and eight—were inside the car at the time, a report stated.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Singleton was in the Chatham County jail awaiting a court hearing.
