Police arrested two brothers Tuesday after an animal cruelty investigator witnessed a shocking case of animal disfigurement involving two cockfighting roosters.

The men then allegedly put the bird on the ground to fight.
One investigators says she saw the brothers throw the combs over the fence, where she retrieved them as evidence. Under questioning, one of the brothers admitted to the crime, according to a police report.
