Cory W. Dodson, 25, of Bankside Drive, Hamlin, is charged with aggravated harassment 2nd (a Class A misdemeanor) for calls he allegedly made on Feb. 25, and Feb. 26.
In one of the calls he allegedly stated he would shoot the trooper who answered the phone.
On the morning of Feb. 25, Dodson told the police dispatcher he and his friends were out riding the stolen ATVs, would not be caught because they were way too smart, and were calling from an untraceable cell phone.
Police report that when the dispatcher asked why he was calling, Dodson told her it was for the fun of it.
Dodson also allegedly called and took credit for the theft of ATVs from Cycle Enterprises, in West Bloomfield.
Dodson was identified by tracing the phone calls and arrested in Brockport, March 6.
