Israeli T-shirts, dead Palestinians new fashion market

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli Haaretz newspaper revealed that T-shirts and other clothing bearing images and slogans urging for killing pregnant Palestinian women, and bombing mosques are designed nowadays at the request of IOF troops as a 2009 fashion in Israel.

According to Haaretz, the captioned images of dead babies, mothers weeping on their children's graves, a gun aimed at a child and bombed-out mosques are a few examples of many images Israeli soldiers design or choose these days to get them printed on T-shirts.

The newspaper said that this fashion spread largely in the Israeli military units especially the sniper unit whose soldiers order T-shirts bearing, for example, the image of a pregnant Palestinian woman caught in the crosshairs of a rifle with a caption reading, "One shot two kills."

I wonder what would be a response if some neo-nazis wore shirts with a pregnant Jewish woman caught in crosshairs with the statement "1 Target, 2 hits"? In some place that will get you arrested. But in Israel the ethinic cleansing has the approval of the UN...so I guess that means they aren't human in the eyes of the world.

Yeah... That's not okay. Ethnic cleansing is not okay. Turning the murder of non-threatening women and children into fashion icons is not okay.

I understand the mindframe and the interest in dehumanizing the enemy, but the Israeli military should not condone this particular marketing campaign, if for no other reason than it will further demonize Israei troops in the international eye.

Israel's current aggressive behavior isn't applauded by everyone in America, even if our government believes that Israel can do no wrong.

I do not understand how the Palestinian position regarding the theft of their land isn't obvious to everyone as being correct. Or at the very least as having merit. Just because the US Government backs a particular country, doesn't mean that they are RIGHT. It just means that the strength of the US is supporting them. Might doesn't make right.
