Teens React to Economic Crisis

I saw this video featured on 20/20 tonight.

There was a time when children were completely in the dark about their parents finances and troubles. It is difficult in today's world to protect our children from these things. It is evident in this video just how fully aware these teens are of what is going on. It is also painful that at a time they should be enjoying life, they are troubled by adult issues.

I do believe, that children in a generation that struggles, brings forth a stronger future for us. We saw this with the children of the Depression Era (many being our parents). Maybe that's what our problem has been for the last 30 years? As a nation, we became spoiled and lost sight of what's important?
