Jon Staat sexually assaults 4 year girl, no jail time

Jonathan Staat, 16, was sentenced Wednesday for his second criminal sexual conduct offense against a person under the age of 13. Charged as an adult, he was sentenced to five years probation, one year on a tether with a 4 p.m. curfew, and ordered to not be alone with anyone under the age of 16 without adult supervision. The suspect's father, Michael Staat, said he thought his son's punishment was sufficient. He says Staat asked the girl to perform oral sex on him and she did it.

I'm outraged. The judge doesn't want to ruin this kid's life by giving him jail time?! This kid is already on his way to being a life time sexual offender. How many more girls will it take?

I suppose the victim's life being ruined just didn't tug at this particular judge's heartstrings. This is absolutely outrageous. Five years of probation just doesn't cut it.

Know about something like this. A teenager aged 15 & 16 raped and molested his half sister(aged 5&6), cousin (aged 6 & 7), another half sister (aged 3 & 4), plus a neighbor's daughter (4 & 5). Once uncovered his mom took him on the run. They returned after he became an adult. Victim's families contracted LE. He was picked up-charges were thrown out because evidence was lost by LE and judge did not want the young asses future ruined. Who cares about the victims? He now is in the military and tends to date women with young children. He has been engaged 3 times. Just love the DA and judge don't you. He and his father & mom just wants this dropped and forgotten. He was just being curious. I wonder how many walk around like this and don't get caught until more victims are racked up.

Somebody needs to whack his father upside the head. Is he kidding? He thinks the punishment is sufficient because his 16-year old son asked a 4-year old to perform oral sex on him and she did it? Incredible. With a father who justifies his crimes like that, don't expect this kid to ever take responsibility for anything he does. I'm sure it's always going to be someone else's fault.

And what is wrong with that judge? This is this kid's SECOND offense on a young victim.

"I was in utter disbelief. I was extremely angry at the judge's decision to basically give this man nothing but a stronger slap on the wrist," the victim's father told 24 Hour News 8.

Utter disbelief is putting it nicely....

He'll be in the news again, mark my words... espcially with the attitude of his father. I hope the teen asks someone to smash him upside the head, according to pops, as long as he asks, it's okay.
