Desiree Sanders, 17 year old mother of 3, arrested for smoking maryjane

A 17-year-old faces charges of endangering a child by smoking marijuana in a very confined space.

Dallas police told paramedics to take the teen's 6-month-old to Children's Medical Center for a medical evaluation. As of 9 p.m., there was word yet if doctors found drugs in the baby's system.

Desiree Sandner just turned 17 a few weeks ago. Test results for her son Isaiah aren't back yet.

The baby is now in CPS custody. Police also say Sandner has two older children who had already been taken away from her.

Sandner is also reportedly pregnant. She just turned 17 at the end of February.

I'm sorry but fuck her. 17, with 3 children, 2 already in CPS custody, and this one taken away cause she was smoking pot, then one on the way.....fuck her. She doesn't deserve to have anymore children. And on top of that, she just turned fucking 17!!!!

I was gonna rant about the overhysteria on pot, but I draw the line when you are giving the kids secondhand smoke. On top of that, she should be taking care of those kids, not getting stoned. She does not have that luxury.Yet...

Wow. I'm trying to do the math here. Unless she has some multiples in there, she had to start having babies when she was a baby herself -- like 14? Where are HER parents? I'm very sad for her children and very sad for poor Desiree.

What a waste of space. Smokin' pot and makin' babies--not takin' care of said kids mind you. I don't care if someone wants a bit of the herb--just don't do it around your kids. Don't have 4 babies before the age 18!

Plus she obviously has never heard of contraception. Or crossing legs. Damn, she's a babymachine. And not because she looooves babies, I'd say.

I'm amazed CPS isn't involved in HER life, meaning taking care of her. She's underaged and constantly pregnant.

You know, I'm usually one to jump on the worthless incubator bandwagon, but something in me says, this girl just doesn't know any better. Shit, she's seventeen, just turned seventeen, already popped out three kids and has a fourth on the way. Somebody did this girl an injustice. Shit, put her in DFS care herself, or just find someone to be a good role model for her. Help her gain a little self respect, something tells me she has very little. Show her that she's not worthless, or at least that she doesn't have to be.

I do think her kids should be taken away until she gets her life together, but shit, she's just seventeen, she's young and dumb, that's for sure, but lets not throw her under the bus yet and start screaming for sterilization yet people.

I won't throw her under the bus --- but I WILL call for sterilization. She will have FOUR children before she turns 18!! How many more should she have before someone says "enough"? Unless she is making $1,000 a week - who do you think is either helping to or totally supporting these offspring? Not her! How long before she is on the FP for something more serious than MaryJane? No possible way she is doing right by these kids - even without the marijuana. They've become just another way to get money from the state or the baby's daddy's.

I'm not trying to be argumentative here -- really, I'm not. I just can't condone (especially in this economy) someone so young breeding like a damn bitch in heat. She is devoid of common sense, decency, self-esteem, morals, values and self-control. Does that make good "mother" material?

I'm sorry -- I'm just overwhelmed with incredulity on this one. 4 kids at 17 (that she obviously doesn't care for) and the suggestion she should be free to have more just sends my blood pressure sky rocketing.

She's already fallen through the cracks enough... I hope some agency out there steps up and helps her somehow before she is lost in the abyss forever.

I agree with everything else you stated, though.

Her own sister is hoping they terminate her rights to all her children.

Two-year-old Murea Delgado and her twin sister Alley are two happy toddlers. But they have no idea their mother, 17-year-old Desiree Sandner, is now in jail.

Police arrested Sandner outside her home Tuesday after they found she smoked marijuana in a car while her six-month-old son was in back.

"I hope this time they terminate her rights to all the children," said Delgado.

CPS is investigating the case.
