Ricky Reynolds is a baby killer, he killed his 7-month-old baby boy

The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Ricky Jr. Reynolds, D.O.B. 08-16-1987, for the Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child and two counts of Child Neglect.

At approximately 9:24 pm the Panama City Police Department Communications Unit received a 911 call from 615 Satsuma Avenue about a 7-month-old infant not breathing.

Patrol officers arrived and took custody of the child from Reynolds who was attempting to revive the child. Officers gave CPR until EMS arrived.

EMS continued to attempt resuscitation on the infant while en route to Bay Medical Center. The child was pronounced dead at BMC a short time later.

The 14th Judicial Circuit Medical Examiners Office will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death.

Reynolds admitted to Detectives that he was watching the now deceased 7-month-old infant; it’s twin and a two-year-old sibling.

He bundled the deceased child in a comforter blanket and put him on a bed, left its twin in a bassinet/crib, and the two-year-old on a mattress on the floor.

Reynolds left the residence, went to a nearby store, purchased three 32 ounce beers, drank them all, fixed himself supper, used the bathroom, went back into the room where he left the children and observed that he could not find the 7 month old.

He located the infant rolled up in the comforter blanket on the bed unresponsive.

It was at 615 Satsuma Avenue in the old Orchard area Thursday night where police say a 7-month- old baby boy tragically lost his life. Twenty two year old Ricky Reynolds allegedly told investigators he was watching his children, the now deceased 7-month-old infant, it's twin and a two year old sibling.

Reynolds told detectives he wrapped the baby up in a blanket, left the home, and went and bought beer. Allegedly three 32-ounce beers and It's leaving the community shocked and wondering why this happened.

"During the investigation it was determined that he completely wrapped it child in the blanket head and all," Capt. Mark Aviles, of the Panama City Police Department said.

During Reynolds first appearance Friday, his family members told Judge Thomas Elinor he was a good father and the aggravated manslaughter charge he's facing should be dropped.( SAY WHAT !!!!!!!!! )

"He's a very good father, he has a job, he mostly cares for the kids because she works a lot," said a family member.

Elinor agreed to release him on a conditional bond after determining he isn't a threat to society. Reynolds is now a free man, until his trial.

We tried to get comments from family members, but no one would talk about the case.. Reynolds faces aggravated manslaughter of a child and 2 counts of child neglect.

His trial date hasn't been set yet. The Medical Examiner's office is doing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Good fathers leave their kids home alone to go get beer? Wraps them up head-to-toe? You know dang well that he wrapped the kid like that so it wouldn't be able to do anything while was gone.

Somehow I don't think putting a beer before your kids' safety is on the list of things good father's do.

My mind cant fathom what this Tards parents consider a bad parent, if they think there kids a good one. He drank damn near a fucking gallon of fucking beer while babysitting 3 kids for fucks sake. and he left them HOME ALONE for fucks sake. I guess they think the two-year was babysitting the twins and that makes it ok.

CPR on an infant is hard to get right. Attempting to revive the baby after drinking so much beer would have been practically impossible to do correctly, so he undoubtedly did far more harm than good to this poor mite.

As for leaving two 7mth olds and a 2yr old on their own while he went for the beer, drank it, and then 'fixed himself supper and used the bathroom', WTF? He didnt even bother to check in on them after returning from getting his precious beer? Fucking tard!

Yeah, sounds like a candidate for 'father of the year' alright.
