Disappearing thanks button

I'm new so forgive me if I have missed something about this, but my thanks button has been disappearing on and off for the past two days. Is there a limit to how many thanks you can give in a set period of time or is this a glitch?

Yeah, when you run out of thanks that means you've reached your limit... I don't know exactly how long it takes to come back but, it does.

24 hours. U only get so many for 24 hours. Like 10 or 15, I can't remember.

Yeah that part kind of sucks...I am one that joins Special in saying that we should have unlimited...but sadly, we don't...

We used to and it was outta control. So they got limited. And u are most welcome. Every new person wonders about that.

But you can also Rep people too. If you run out of thanks, but really agree with something, you can give positive reps. If you really hate what they say, either groan them or give neg reps!!

I have decided to be stingy on my thanks and very stingy on my reps (super thanks). That way they mean more... plus I'm a bitch LOL So if you have a thanks or rep from me, you know I enjoyed it.

No one ever complains that their groan button disappears. I don't give groans. Only once by accident and I can't find it to undo it. DAMN! So whoever gets my first real groan is going to hear thunder or something because you should never piss off a bitch.

All the groans I've received are "love groans" from friends... except 1 from LookieLou but that doesn't count.

Be happy if your Thanks button disappeared! It means you have enjoyed the last 24 hours :)

Me too. I will thank everyone that replies in a thread I didn whether I agree or not but i am stingy otherwise. And if u get rep from me it means i love you and may stalk you. DV gets rep from me all the time.

I've been hording my Reps and Thanks as well. I went to Rep TT today for her beautiful picture and it said I had to spread the lovin'. I think it was last week I Rep'd her and only 2 others since then (just the last day or so).

I'm stingy with the reps, but very giving with the thanks. Sometimes I don't have anything else to add, but I want to signify that ITA. I'm always fearful that if I stop thanking people, they'll stop thanking me! ;)

I just discovered the Reps feature. Is that how you get all the green and yellow dots below your info. If I give reps to someone are they actually taken from my stock. I've only got 2 as it is but I'll share, who wants one?

My personal opinions on Reps are if you really like something someone said you give them a rep. and not just because you run out of thanks. I don't think that's really right. That to me is wasting your reps. JMO
