Braydon Bingham Missing For a Week *found deceased*

Somerville, TN - The search is on to find a young man from Fayette County who's been missing for more than a week now.

A relative picked up 23 year-old Braydon Bingham at his home near Oakland on Friday, February 20, 2009 and dropped him off in Memphis near the Highland strip.

Family members say they got a phone call from Braydon the following day, but that's the last time they've heard from him.

Bingham is five feet six inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a ball cap.

Found deceased. I can't find anything more recent than this article to see if they determined how he died.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis Police found the body of 23-year old Braydon Bingham Monday afternoon at the Wolf River Bottoms located near Covington Pike and Interstate 240.

Shelby County Medical Examiner confirmed the body's identity Tuesday. The official cause of death has not been determined pending an autopsy.

Investigators say they do not believe foul play was involved and there were no visible signs of trauma to the victim’s body.

Bingham’s disappearance was being investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. It was reported to deputies that the victim had not been seen or heard from since February 21, 2009.

MPD Investigators went to the Wolf River Bottoms to search for the body after they received information from a male acquaintance of Bingham who told investigators that he was the last person with the victim prior to his death in the area where the body was found.

The 25-year old witness was questioned by investigators and later released.

Did they just find his body or is that an old article? I can't find a date on it.

It's an old article, from March 9, 2009. I found this blog that claims he was "very gullible" and "had a history of drugs" but I can't find a news story or anything recent. The articles on the blog look like they are copied from a news site. http://findbraydon.com/blog/ Seems like perhaps he was using drugs with friends and accidentally overdosed?
