DFC spokesman charged in crimes against children

Al Zimmerman,a spokesperson for FL Dept of Family & Children has been arrested on 8 counts of using a child in a sexual performance.More charges are expected to be filed.

Another spokesman says at least one of the victims may be in the DFC system.

Key things:
Background check didn't reveal offenses in other states.
FL DFS does not FINGERPRINT potential employees.
Had glowing references from other state employees.

I'm starting to think Florida's DFC is run by a bunch of retarded baboons. I mean, every state has their cases that slip through the cracks, but I hear about Florida ALOT.

But in their defense, this guy did not LOOK like a pedophile. Everyone knows that pedophiles don't have blond hair, blue eyes and wear ties and khakis! <insert massive eye roll here>

They did more background checks on the job I have now where I have no contact with the public and sit in a cube behind a computer all day.
