H. Waibl Police in Lexington have found a mother and her two children reported missing Sunday by the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
The mother, Heather Heloni' Lynn Waibl, 25, was taken into custody shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, according to Sheriff David Woolfork.
An arrest warrant accuses Waibl of taking her two children.
Woolfork said authorities found Nathan Waibl, 4, and Allison Waibl, 3, unharmed in Lexington. He gave credit to the Lexington Police Department and U.S. Marshal's Service.
Woolfork said officials received a tip on where to find the children.
Authorities said Heather Waibl picked up her children at the designated time and did not return the children to their father at the court-ordered time.
Woolfork said Heather Waibl will be charged with custodial interference. The visitation with her children was to be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on alternating Saturdays. She was not to take the children outside Madison County, a news release said.
An endangered child alert was issued Sunday evening after the children were last seen Saturday with their non-custodial mother, Heather Waibl, of Dover, according to a news release.
