A man looking for companionship online, found himself looking at three scary looking men, with weapons threatening to kill him if he didn't give them money.
It happened Saturday, February 14th in Taylorsville, Utah.
The man met a woman on a dating website, she invited him to her apartment.
The woman, Marissa Ibisevic, invited him in, then told him she was going to change into something more comfortable.
She stepped into the back bedroom and out slipped three men with tazers and knives.
They forced him into his car and drove to a 7-11 convenience store. They told him to
go inside and withdraw money from the ATM while they waited in the vehicle.
Inside the man told the clerk to call police. While
the employee dialed 911, the man locked the door and braced for a fight.
After several minutes one of the crooks approached the door, not liking what he saw, he turned and bolted.
Police eventually arrived and arrested Monroe William Davis. He and Marissa Ibisevic face charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping. Police are still looking for two more men they say are also involved in the heist.
