LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. -- Two suspects appeared in a Lawrence County court Wednesday facing a number of charges, including sexual assault and providing minors with drugs and alcohol.
Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz reported the exclusive details of the investigation.
Daniel Donnelly denied it, but police said he and his roommate Michael Washington, both in their 40s, ran a party house on a New Castle street just two blocks from the high school.
Court documents show 11 boys and girls, ages 12 to 16, have come forward so far. Police said the drinking and drugs went on for nearly a year, but then police said one of the girls was sexually assaulted and that’s when law enforcement was notified.
The partying reportedly started in the summer of 2008 and ended with the assault in January.
The judge held both Donnelly and Washington for court and increased their bonds, warning them that if they get out they are to have no contact with the children involved in the case.
