Edward McGraw lost his cell phone with his pictures on it

Attorney General Bill McCollum announced that a Pensacola man has been taken into custody on charges on child pornography possession.

Edward Dewayne McGraw turned himself over to authorities after a warrant for his arrest was obtained by the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit.

McGraw was being sought because images of child pornography were found on a cell phone he abandoned.

The Crestview police department received information about a cell phone that contained multiple images of child pornography. The cell phone had been abandoned at a local construction site.

Forensic analysis of the phone revealed that McGraw, 38, was in possession of the phone when the images were saved to the phone.

The images on the cell phone appear to be of children between the ages of five and nine years old, nude and/or engaged in sexual conduct with an adult male.

McGraw will be charged with five counts of possession of child pornography. Additional charges may be filed once investigation is completed.
