Well there goes his father of the year award. Fucking dumbass tard. His son told the Po Po, his daddy was drinking “liquid medicine" in order to feel better,” then pointed to a bottle of whiskey in the car. Kids say the darnedest things.

Needless to say the 8-year-olds driving skills were pretty bad, he barley missed hitting 2 people, then crashed into a tree. That didn't stop him, he tried again and hit another tree, disabling the car.

BRADENTON — Police arrested a man on a child abuse charge after he let his 8-year-old son drive his car in a parking lot, where the boy nearly hit two pedestrians and crashed into several trees.

Mark Andrew Belanger, 34, told Bradenton Police he was on Xanax pills when he allowed his son to drive in the parking lot of the former Albertsons store in the 4600 block of Cortez Road. He told police he was “feeling woozy and didn’t want to drive,” the police report said.

The boy got behind the wheel and almost hit two pedestrians in the parking lot, before crashing into a tree shattering the driver’s side rear window of the car. The boy then crashed a second time into a tree, damaging the car’s radiator, the police report said.

When police arrived, Belanger fell to the ground while being questioned after he dropped a card from his wallet. The police report said he slammed his face on the pavement, leaving a gash on the bridge of his nose.

The boy told police his father was taking “liquid medicine in order to feel better,” before pointing to a bottle of whiskey in their car.

Officers took Belanger into custody and charged him with child abuse and permitting an unlicensed driver to drive, but he didn’t go to jail without a fight. Police shot him with pepper spray after he tried to kick out windows on a patrol car.

Belanger was being held in the Manatee County jail without bond.

Police: Man let 8 year old son drive
BRADENTON - A 34 year old man from Sarasota is facing charges for allegedly allowing his eight year old son to drive his car.

The Bradenton Police Department says Mark Belanger let his son get behind the wheel in the parking lot of an abandoned grocery store. This happened in the 4600 block of Cortez Road.

Deputies say Belanger told investigators he was feeling woozy and didn't want to drive. Detectives say the young driver crashed the car moments after he started driving. The eight year old apparently nearly hit two pedestrians before slamming into some trees.

Authorities say a bottle of whiskey was found in the car and the suspect's son told them his dad was drinking "liquid medicine."

After placing Belanger under arrest, deputies say they had to use pepper spray on him because he tried to kick out the rear window of the Bradenton Police Department cruiser.

Belanger is facing one count of child abuse without great harm and one count of allowing an unlicensed person to drive a motor vehicle. Right now he remains in the Manatee County Jail.

I wish they had a bigger pict of this turd, he has some serious road rash face from falling down when he bent over to pick up a piece of paper he dropped, not to mention he had pepper spray eyes from trying to kick his way out of the cop car.
