Parker P.D. has arrested a Parker man for the offense of Aggravated Child abuse.
Twenty-five-year-old Andrew Steven Gordey was arrested Thursday stemming from an incident involving his 2-month old child. Parker police was contacted after the child was at the Bay Medical Center Emergency Room.
The child was treated for serious injuries that he received earlier that day. The child underwent emergency surgery due to the injuries.
Gordey was arrested at a Lynn Haven work site Thursday without incident. He is being held at the Bay County Jail pending a first appearance in a local court Friday.
The Florida Dept. of Children and Families is assisting in this case as well.
