But to have a nose job, have collagen injections in your lips and start talking like Angelina -- that's over the top.

    No doubt in my mind.

    Post

Once again, she has NO JOB, no source of steady, reliable income yet she could afford all this plastic surgery and the numerous IVF procedures!? I am baffled and disgusted. I have heard in previous reports she received a "financial settlement" of some sort for some situation, yet she didn't think to pay off her bills, buy a home, help her parents out, etc. And her parents knew she was doing all this plastic surgery and madness - where was she recovering at? Who was tending to her children while she was doing all this? She looks like a broken down FANgelina and she does not look even close to the person she was born as! Fucking psycho!

I love my mother for telling me not to get an epidural. She scared me into not getting one just so that I could feel the pain of having a child. I was so scared to get one, until the minute she told me,"I scared you cause I wanted you to know what it was like to feel the pain so that way you would not have anymore anytime soon." and you know what, it worked. My mother also hardly ever helped me raise my child. Even though we were still living under her roof, she not once got up at night to help feed and change my child. She bathed her maybe 2 times while she was a baby. She did not babysit when me and my hubby went places because she said if I were an adult, we wouldn't ask her for the help. Every now and then, when we were absolutely broke, she would buy the formula or the diapers, but we would always pay her back. There are many other things I can say that my mother did and I thank her for every single thing she didn't do. Get it? If she had a mother like my mother, she wouldn't have had the extras. Not until she realized the value of a dollar and how much it costs to raise them. As my mother has always told me,"It's not my job to raise your child. You wanted her, now you take care of her."

Am I your mom? I always tell the kids "I am the Nana, not the sitter!".

Although we will have 2 kids/2 grandkids in the house for a few months this summer. I do plan on sitting while they work/school. But I won't do it if they want to go have fun with friends.

One is coming because she will be doing summer classes for grad school. The other has a husband who will be deployed. She is only planning to be here for 2 of the 6 months he will be gone. I will have a couple months of Nana heaven! (or Nana hell?)

Angela Suleman has sharply criticized her daughter Nadya Suleman's decision to expand her family through artificial insemination despite already having six young children.

But in an interview on CBS's "The Early Show" posted on the network's Web site, Angela Suleman said her anger subsided after she saw the babies.

"I thought, 'My goodness, these are my grandchildren. They're so tiny and fragile. I'll have to be there for them, you know, like I was for the others,'" she said.

"You can resent your daughter for just so long and then you see that she's trying so hard to take care of these children," Angela Suleman said. "She's a very good mother ... but then she had a good example."

Angela Suleman said she won't have enough space for the octuplets, who were born last month, when they are released from the hospital, and that she will have to help her daughter move into another home.

She said she already spends her entire retirement income caring for the six grandchildren who live with her.

"My retirement check goes every month," she said. "It's just gone."

More of the interview was to air Tuesday on "The Early Show."

I don't think I've ever felt such intense hatred (it's gone past dislike) for someone I've never met. I cannot believe Nadya's mother was already supporting her grandchildren with her retirement check, and the bitch went to have 8 more.
Has she ever said exactly was was so dysfunctional about her childhood that made her want to have 14 kids? Whatever it was, she's definitely paying them back now, and then some.

Stupid, selfish bitch. I HATE HER.

    (Now I feel better)

Thank You to all the parents & grandparents posting comments on this. I don't have any kids and I'm pretty sure that 14 gerbils would be too much for me so thanks for some interesting revelations!

IMHO she's totally using the kids to get what she wants: attention, support, sympathy....I'm pretty sure the Austin couple who had the 1st octuplets (now septuplets) didn't pull a bunch of crap like this. They're the ones who should be her role models, not Angelina Jolie!!!! Eww.

    And BTW,
TMZ has a hilarious poll up on their site, goes something like this:

    Who do you hate more?

    1) Octomom
    2) Mussolini

Octomom is running away with it
(I would bet though that your average TMZ viewer has no clue who Mussolini was)

You do not get medical coverage with student loans. As a student, most companies have inexpensive policies for students but generally not family ones. Student policies are cheap because they have high limits and limited coverage.

I doubt she had any coverage. Medicaid is more like it.

    Exclamation UPDATE on Octopussy

According to online reports, Nadya Suleman, the women who gave birth to 8 babies and is about to be homeless, went to look at a Spanish style villa in Whittier, CA today.

The $1.4 million house features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a sparkling swimming pool.

4 bedrooms doesn’t seem nearly enough for a brood of 14. And 2.5 baths is really stretching it, especially when a line begins to form outside the door in the mornings.

But it is a gorgeous house. I’m sure Suleman can afford the 10% down payment using the loot she’s already received from selling her story.

And since she’s in California, once she gets into the house, she can squat for another 8 months without paying the mortgage before the bank forecloses.
    Just marvelous...

I don't think the pool is a good idea. Since she's obviously not the type to think things through, it's highly likely she'll leave her kids by the pool unsupervised. And then, it's splash, and good-bye kid.

WTF?!? You can get a lot more room than that, even in California, for $1.4 million.

Do you think she's trying to be hated? Because she's doing a good job of it.

I don't think shes TRYING to be hated Athena.

I just don't think she is smart enough to say things to NOT make herself Likeable.

If she would just quit being a media whore, things would work out MUCH better for her.

CHICAGO - The father of the California woman who recently gave birth to octuplets told Oprah Winfrey that he hopes people don't punish his grandchildren for his daughter's irresponsible behavior.

Ed Doud said in an interview taped Thursday for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that the actions of his daughter, Nadya Suleman, and her doctor were "absolutely irresponsible." But he also issued a plea for the public's help, according to excerpts of the interview released by Harpo Productions Inc.

"You know what? She needs help. I say to everybody now — people — we do need help," Doud said. "Do not punish my daughter for what she had done and do not punish the babies, because they were given by God."

A California-based nonprofit called Angels in Waiting has offered Suleman round-the-clock care and a place to stay with her 14 children. It would cost about $135,000 a month to provide the 12 caretakers necessary for the children, money that would have to come from public donations, founder Linda West Conforti said in Los Angeles.

The organization has the trained nursing personnel and experience in caring for very sick children, she said. The group, however, could only provide care for a limited time without the donations, she said.

Suleman, a 33-year-old single mother from Whittier, Calif., already had six children when she gave birth to octuplets in late January after undergoing in vitro fertilization. She is unemployed and lives with her mother in a three-bedroom home.

Property records show Suleman's mother, Angela, owns the home and is $23,225 behind in her mortgage payments. The house could be sold at auction beginning May 5.

In response to a question about whether he thinks his daughter is mentally stable, Doud said, "Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation."

Doud said he hopes Suleman will finish her education and start working so she can help support the family.

The show is scheduled to air Tuesday.

Parents of 18 wonder how octuplet mom will cope,,,,, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar of Springdale, Arizona, are the parents of 18 children, and their family is the focus of a TLC network reality series.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar say they are grateful for their 18 children, and may have more.

Joy Behar, guest host Thursday night on "Larry King Live," asked the Duggars how they are able to stay debt free with such a large family and what they thought of Nadya Suleman, the single mother who recently gave birth to octuplets after having fertility treatments.

Following is a transcript of their conversation.

Joy Behar: Let me ask you something. What is your reaction to this octomom? Nadya Suleman, the story. What do you think about that?

Michelle Duggar: Well, I just know from my own heart, I can't judge and look at her and judge her situation. I just know from my heart, and personally God changed our heart about children years ago. And so we've kind of gone about it the old-fashioned way. And so we are enjoying each one of the blessings that God has given us, and we're thankful for each one of them.

Behar: Right, at least you guys enjoyed having the babies, you went through the sex then the giving birth. This woman didn't have any of that, except the giving birth, which must have been rough, don't you think?

Michelle Duggar: Oh, my, I can't imagine. I had twins, but I have -- I just can't imagine having eight at once and the responsibility that that brings.
    Octuplet mom's home in default
Behar: Why do you suppose this woman has provoked such negativity? They have a "USA Today" Gallup poll saying 70 percent of those surveyed are unsympathetic to this woman. What is going on?

Michelle Duggar: Well, you know, I feel like probably more than anything it's just the fact of the responsibility issues from their perspective, and I, you know, I imagine that's probably more of the animosity that's out there. And so -- but I do -- I just can't imagine, you know, her -- how she's going to handle that many little ones under the age of 8. That's a lot of little ones all at once.

Jim Bob Duggar: We just need to pray for her.

Behar: But you guys haven't experienced that kind of hostility for the children you have. Is that because you're married?

Michelle Duggar: I don't know. I think maybe, you know, being that God's given ours one or two at a time and we've kind of done it the old-fashioned way, I don't know. We love them, we're enjoying them, and by God's grace we're taking care of them if he gives us one more. So I just think we're grateful.

Behar: I understand that you guys are debt free. I can't even imagine how you pulled that off. ... How did you do that?

Jim Bob Duggar: Well, back about 18 years ago, we saw Jim Sammons' financial seminar on DVD, and it was life-changing. At that point, we purposed to try to get out of debt and try to stay out of debt. And our family motto is to buy used and save the difference. We shop a lot at garage sales, thrift stores.

Michelle Duggar: Auctions. We bought our industrial kitchen equipment that way, our vehicles that way, and so we really cut corners and we live very frugally.

Jim Bob Duggar: That's right, we've never bought a new vehicle. So we do live -- we try to -- we know how to stretch a dollar.

Behar: How many cars do you have?

Jim Bob Duggar: We actually have probably about, what? Seven or eight right now?

Michelle Duggar: We have a lot of drivers, which is great.

Behar: Seven or eight cars, well, that's an expensive proposition, isn't it? Do you get public assistance of any kind?

Jim Bob Duggar: No, we don't -- we've never had any public assistance. Just like our 21-passenger bus, we bought at a sealed-bid auction for $2,100, we bought an '04 Suburban at an auction for like $7,000. Instead of $40,000 on a vehicle we ...

Behar: Yeah, I got it. I see what you're doing. But you have a book deal and a TV show. That's got to help. Do you think the octomom could get a TV show like you have? That might help her a lot.

Michelle Duggar: I could not imagine having that many little ones and being busy with a show. I think for our situation, our children are a lot older and our heart is really to just share with other families, encourage them that children are a gift and enjoy them while you have them because they grow up really fast. And so ...

Behar: Well, you keep having more. But you have plenty to still enjoy. They keep coming. I don't see that you're ever going to have an empty nest syndrome. They're going to be there.

    Michelle Duggar: I hope not.

Behar: You guys will never be alone.

Michelle Duggar: We look forward to grandbabies, then. That'll be fun.

Behar: You know, let me ask you one more question about her. If she did get involved in doing a reality show like you guys are doing, do you have any advice for her? What kind of show should she have? Maybe she needs a baseball team or something. What advice could you give her?

    Michelle Duggar: I don't -- I really -- I don't know.

Jim Bob Duggar: Yeah, I think it's a full-time job just taking care of the children while they're young. Maybe 10 years from now when the kids are 10 years old, that might be an option. But when they're all small, I think there's a lot of needs. And so, I think, she'll have her hands full. As I know when we had seven that were 7 and under, it was a very busy time.

Behar: Are you going to have some more, Michelle?

Jim Bob Duggar: I've always left it up to Michelle.

Michelle Duggar: We'll see. We'll take it one at a time. I would love more, but we'll see if the Lord sees fit and blesses us with another one.

Behar: Do you ever say to Jim Bob, get away from me, I have a headache?

Jim Bob Duggar: Actually, I can't keep her away from me.

Behar: Oh, boy. You guys are funny. OK, thanks so much for sharing your time with us yet again. Good luck to you both.

It would cost about $135,000 a month to provide the 12 caretakers necessary for the children, money that would have to come from public donations, founder Linda West Conforti said in Los Angeles.
Holy fuck. I could live on that for at least 5 years, and that is the costs for her for one month. Did she really not think this through? OMG. And her dad can kiss my grits. He can continue to help her delusional, selfish, irresponsible ass. I didn't watch her make all those babies and not do shit. They should have made her grow up and move the fuck out a long time ago. Then she would be so busy WORKING to survive that she couldn't have afforded the IVF for this fiasco.
