Well now, months later, we have a response from Tabitha Smiley, one of the girls involved:

record, nobody on here knows me or anything about my case. I was JUST the
driver and nothing else. I did my time and i will continue to pay for the
completely stupid and immature shit i did. I DO NOT WISH TO BE BLACK. Or think
i am "gangsta" in any way. I am who i am. My two co-defendents and I made a
really bad choice that could have ended up being worse than it was. We were
wrong and no, a guy or anybody else for that matter is ever worth going to

all very lucky that the girl only had minor injuries. Anybody that does think

that NOBODY IS WORTH LOSING YOUR FUTURE!!! I would appreciate if you would get
the facts of the story (the WHOLE story) before you post blogs about somebody
else's case. And anybody that had smart-ass, immature comments to make about
people are obviously not any more educated than the rest of us.

Thanks for making contact with us. I appreciate hearing from you, and it sounds like you
learned a lot. I'm going to post your email, unedited, so people can see your side of
the story. Thanks for the update.
Any more information you have, I'll be glad to post for you, or feel free to post it
yourself. As far as getting the whole story, that's hard to do when half the story's in
jail and the victim isn't talking, so we take our information from the press and court
documents, plus whatever we can dig up. However, now that you've found us, I have no
problem posting your side as well.

Cassidy's Myspace hasn't changed at all, even though she's since turned 18 and last logged in on March 31. I don't think Alyssa Walzer has been to her old Myspace in a year and i can't verify that her new one is hers and it's set to private anyway. So whatever. I'd really like to hear from the victim in this case, now that we're thinking about it again.
