Talibah AllenWillie PooleGREENVILLE, S.C. -- Greenville deputies have made an arrest in the death of a woman who was found shot to death two days after she was reported missing.

Willie James Poole, 30, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Tuesday at the office of his probation and parole officer.

He is charged with killing 31-year-old Talibah Allen. Investigators said that Poole was Allen's boyfriend.

Allen was reported missing on Saturday, Jan. 10. Some dirt bikers found Allen’s body two days later near Lakeside Road and Staunton Bridge Road in an area off White Horse Road.

She had been shot four times in the chest.

Family and friends said that the biggest heartache is that Allen's 4-year-old daughter is now without her mother.

Poole is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He told News 4 that he is innocent. In speaking of Talibah Allen, he said he "loved her dearly."

A judge denied bond for Poole late Tuesday.
