Constable pleads guilty to corrupting minors (with Myspace)

A state constable pleaded guilty today to corrupting three teenage boys and, as part of a deal with prosecutors, was to be released from jail.

Brian Scott Franklin, 34, of Carrick, was sentenced to time served in the Allegheny County Jail -- a little less than five months -- and given five years of probation by Common Pleas Judge Edward J. Borkowski.

In exchange for Mr. Franklin's guilty plea to three counts of corruption of minors, a misdemeanor, prosecutors dropped felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and endangering the welfare of children.

Mr. Franklin was charged with touching a 14-year-old boy's genitals in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant on Route 8 in Shaler in July. The victim told police he was scared of Mr. Franklin because as a constable, he always carried a gun.

After his initial arrest, two more victims came forward claiming that Mr. Franklin molested them during overnight stays at his home.

A 15-year-old boy said Mr. Franklin groped him and the two performed oral sex on each other during several sleepovers in 2007 and '08 when Mr. Franklin lived in Lawrenceville, then later when he moved to Carrick. A 14-year-old boy told investigators that Mr. Franklin started touching him during an overnight in Carrick in April 2008, but he rebuffed the man's advances.

In addition to the probation, Judge Borkowski ordered Mr. Franklin to have no contact with the victims and to undergo a mental health evaluation.

According to court records, Mr. Franklin became a constable in 2004 and was placed on inactive status in September, meaning he cannot perform any duties of a constable.

He does seem to really enjoy little boys. Almost all of his pics are of little boys. I mean maybe they are his sons but, he seems to be enjoying it alittle bit too much...

Some are his boys , but not all of them. His Myspace avatar is his youngest son who is Jordan Franklin, his myspace page says he is 14. There is another one Donald Franklin who claims to be 18. Then his 2 daughters.

Brian is ranting and raveing about being set up, ( Yeah right). But his Myspace page is still FULL of teen boy picts.

5 months. He served 5 months for victimizing multiple youths. Members of law enforcement are supposed to be held to a HIGHER standard than the average citizen, not a lower one.

Yeah, he accidentally kept touching teen boys penis's. Or maybe he involuntary kept putting his penis were it didnt belong. Freakin Dirtbag Tard.

I looked up his court records he is on 3 years of probation and isn't allowed to see his children unless he notifys his probation officer when visiting family. Maybe I should call his probation and talk to him about his Perv Myspace account???? Wonder if Paul will give it to me??

The truth shall set you free? Former State Constable Brian plead guilty yet at the same time he is still chalking it up as a win in his book? I love/hate deranged peoples logic, it's confounding at times the denial they go through to feel better about themselves.
