Joyce Marie Passini, of Palm Bay, was charged with battery, battery on a paramedic and resisting without violence after Palm Bay Police were called Monday evening to a home on the 200 block of Almansa Street to investigate a disturbance.
Palm Bay Police said the confrontation was sparked by a missing $600 from Passini's mother.
Police said Passini threw her mother on the couch, striking and biting her repeatedly, witnesses told officers.
Officers handcuffed Passini and transported her to the jail where she remains on a $2,975 bond.
