A Golden Gate Estates man who was arrested last week after Naples police say he attacked a man in a mall parking lot and declared "I am Kevin Walsh," was arrested again Monday after Collier County sheriff’s deputies say he fought with his girlfriend and pulled out her hair.
Kevin Daniel Walsh, 24, 121 10th Ave. N.E., was arrested at home and charged with battery and intimidating a witness.
Walsh returned home from a friend’s house around 4 a.m., and began arguing with his girlfriend, Nicole Dawn Tanaka, about financial difficulties they were having, according to an arrest report.
Enraged, Walsh broke furniture, smashed a chair and turned over a table, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
When Tanaka attempted to call for help, Walsh took the phone from her hand and hid it. Tanaka then retrieved her cell phone and went outside to call authorities.
Walsh followed her outside, grabbed the cell phone, and at the same time pulled out hair from Tanaka’s head, deputies said. He then threw the cell phone into the woods.
Walsh was also arrested Jan. 5, after Naples police say he cut off a driver in the Coastland Center mall parking lot, confronted the driver and then punched him in the mouth.
"Do you know who I am?" Walsh asked the driver, according to reports. "I am Kevin Walsh."
The driver then put him in a headlock.
