The Travillians have a broken and bruised baby

A Frankfort couple is behind bars charged with criminal abuse after their 3-month old baby boy was found with bruises all over his body.

Police say the abuse took place at their home off Crosshill Drive in Frankfort, just before Christmas.

The Commonwealth's Attorney says the child's father 21-year old John Travillian admitted to police he hurt the child.
"It looks from the preliminary medical reports that this child was bruised and battered from head to toe, litterally," said Assistand Commonwealth's Attorney, Dana Todd.
The mother 19-year old Ashley Travillian was also charged because investigators say she allowed the abuse to occur.
A neighbor of the couple who also babysits for them noticed the bruises and called police.
"It made me sick, his whole body was black and blue, I couldn't imagine the pain this child was feeling," said Nancy Day, who was babysitting for the child when she discovered the injuries.
The couple is expected to be in court Friday, both are being held at the Franklin County Jail.

Thank you, neighbor. More people like you and we would read about a few less babies here.

Though a good deal depends now on social services. Hope they won't return the baby, because hey, if you can't deal with the baby crying, how are you gonna deal with a toddler who's throwing a fit every now and then? I'm not a great believer of the "it was a one time thing and I'm now a changed man, I'd never hurt my child again" crap.

Gosh, these stories make me so angry, how CAN you beat a defenceless baby????? It's been asked many times here by many, and we'll never understand. Hopefully.

On his MS pics he has a photo titled "my wife and baby girl" and another pic of same baby girl titled "my world" nothing about the poor baby boy...wonder why? And what of the girl? I hope she did not suffer the same fate at this dicks hands....it makes no sense, this kind of shit.....oh my 10 month old is crying and not taking his nap what should I do? beat him or pat his little baby back? Gee I wonder, seeing as I know when I get hit it freakin hurts, not to mention I'm lazy and it would seem I would spend alot LESS time and energy just patting his little baby back....humanity sucks and it sucks even more to be apart of it, when I know I and others, many on this site, are so much above people like these assholes....ok I'm done...shouldn't have had the coffee first.

Also his MS has got cool pot leaves in the BG, and I don't understand how a pot head could do this....hell I smoke when things get really tough with my 8 year old daughter (she's an ADHD Always Demanding Hellish Diva)...I just tell my 8 year old daughter to give me 5 minutes and just lock my self in my closet, take a couple hits and am able to come out and handle her constant "I Wants" without yelling and for damn sure with out hitting (besides she'd probably just hit me back)...ok damn it now I am done ranting.

God I really just hate baby beaters, baby rapers and baby murderers. I've said in different threads that I wish we had could have vigilante justice in this world for these tards. I would be first in line for that job, and could do it very cheerfully.

Poor little baby, and I too hope the daughter didn't have to suffer at his hands

Kimberix, I was wondering the same thing about baby girl or boy. I watched the video, it states that baby Joshua was indeed the baby beaten and broken. Reporter also mentions baby girl who is now 14 months. Both have been taken into CPS custody.

I know for a fact that this story is not true. Yes the baby did sustain injuries and brusies due to falling off the bed. The next door neighbor is stretching the truth about what really happened. Ashley and John did not beat their 3 month old baby as stated in this story. Get it straight if you want to report the story. This couple is being stonewalled!!!![/B]

No way this baby rolled off bed...not likely at 3 months. He could have been rolled off intentionally. Even then, he wouldn't be covered with bruises from head to toe. This person is a complete idiot and probably a friend of these two idiots.

Ms. Nancy Day is the neighbor who babysat little Joshua...she's a hero. In her testimony. She indicated that baby Joshua was bruised head to toe and that "he must have been crying a lot, his little voice was so hoarse....". So heart breaking. The reporter does say baby was bruised and sustained broken bones. Lord, poor baby was in so much pain....kisses little one.
I am so glad both children are out of that hell hole.

Sweet baby Joshua, heal completely and be perfect again. Baby girl, I do not doubt you endured abuse too...I hope you and your brother will be happy, healthy and loved.

Really? the poor babys name is Joshua, you've gotta be kidding, that's my babys name, Joshua Glen (his dad is Joshua Ward) yup, oh I knew there was a reason I was so upset enough to post ,usually I cry in private for the children, or else I would go on ranting forever. oh those poor sweet babys and I will always be extra thankful and loving to my own Joshua in honor of the one who suffered.

I will say one thing, not only thank god for the neighbor who took quick action but also for the nitwits that asked her to babysit, some people just would have left the poor thing there probably jammed in a closet....

The mother of a young boy who was found in December with bruises all over his body and a broken leg has pleaded guilty to first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony, according to the Franklin Circuit Court Clerk's office.

Ashley Travillian, 19, of Frankfort, was arrested Jan. 8 after a grand jury indicted her on a first-degree criminal abuse charge, which is a Class C felony. She pleaded guilty to the amended charge on Friday in Franklin Circuit Court.

Her husband, John Travillian, 21, also has been charged with first-degree criminal abuse.

A neighbor who baby-sat 3-month-old Joshua noticed the bruises and contacted authorities.

Ashley Travillian is scheduled to be sentenced at 10 a.m. May 15.
