I'm not buying the helpless to the wife nor the exhausted tale on this one for "Daddy". We are all over these women for letting the newest Penis kill babies, these Dads have responsibility also. Even if he only fed the baby a few times a week, that means he saw her, he held her, and there is no way he could have missed how frail she was. Instead of him working two jobs, new idea, maybe she could have gotten off her fat rear, gave up the 18 yr old boyfriend, got a job, and helped support the family. Would have given her something realistic to focus on and likely a babysitter would have had enough sense to feed the children. Makes me just absolutely ill.

The father of a newborn baby who starved to death in 2008 was sentenced Monday to 3 1/2 years in prison after being convicted last month of reckless child abuse.

Scott David Sullivan, 28, was acquitted of first-degree murder but found guilty of abuse in the death of Kimberlie Sullivan, who died Aug. 30, 2008 weighing nearly 2 1/2 pounds less than when she was born seven weeks earlier.

The child’s mother, 27-year-old Terri Sullivan, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years after pleading guilty to first-degree murder on March 4, the same day Scott Sullivan’s trial began before Pima County Superior Court Judge Richard Fields.

ok so here goes...
I worked 2 jobs after my first husband and i split up, and yeah it is time consuming, and you are exausted,but my oldest boy was one when we split up, his dad took off to another state and bam! single mom 2 jobsjust to make it, tired, exausted, and it shows in all of the beautiful pictures i have of me and my son from that timeframe. Hence i still managed to see and care for my son who is now almost ten and perfectly healthy!!!
I guess im just trying to point out that i think it is a bs excuse. you work two jobs if you have too but if you love your kids you make time for them too.
