Michael Guinn made too much Merry on Christmas

A 40-year-old man was arrested Christmas night after he allegedly threatened to burn to death his longtime girlfriend and kill her sister.

Michael Dooley Guinn was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of making felony threats and misdemeanor making annoying phone calls, according to a sheriff's report and booking records. He was held in lieu of $153,000 in bail.

Deputies shortly after 9 p.m. were called to the 2800 block of West Bethany Road near Tracy, according to the report.

They learned that Guinn and a woman with whom he had been living the past 14 years and with whom he had three children had an argument. That escalated to the point where Guinn is suspected to have threatened to kill his girlfriend by setting the porch of their residence on fire while she was inside.

Guinn then allegedly made four threatening telephone calls to the girlfriend's sister, stating that he would go to the sister's home and kill her, too.

Damn that guys arrest record says he is 6'6" tall. Thats already threatining enough.

A man threatened to kill his girlfriend of 14 years and mother of his three children and to set the porch of his house on fire on the 2800 block of Bethany Road with his girlfriend inside of it at 9:08 p.m. Thursday after the two got into an argument, said the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s office.

Michael Dooley Guinn, 40, also threatened to kill his girlfriend’s sister over the phone and was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for felony threats, terrorist threats and threatening and harassing phone calls.

His bail is posted at $153,000.
